My sister Jennifer was a patient in your facility in Pataskala, Ohio for several weeks in May and early June 2018. Jenifer was very ill and decided to call hospice in. I was very impressed with the staff. Julie & Ashley were fantastic nurses, very knowledgeable and caring. They treated our family with respect and love. The aides were just as caring. Jennifer passed in the evening … we are sad to lose her but know she’s in a better place. Your caring staff helped make this very difficult time as easy as possible for me and her husband Ray. I am happy with my experience with Tuscany Gardens. My nurses were caring and compassionate. Everything was kept clean and there is no smell. The rooms are a good size and the staff is friendly. The physical therapists really care, are willing to listen, and were very helpful.

Before coming to Tuscany Gardens, I visited several other nursing homes in the area and was very disappointed, to say the least. As I entered Tuscany Gardens, I was pleasantly surprised to see the cleanliness, beauty, and how friendly every one of their staff was. I find the staff here to be genuinely caring and concerned about all the patients here and I feel fortunate to have my mom living here.

I chose Tuscany Gardens because the physical therapy was recommended to me. They were great with me. They pushed me in the areas they knew I needed to walk again. I AM walking! My first week was rough, but these girls got me through it. They kept a smile on their face and kind words from their mouth. All their nurses are good. All these girls are good at what they do and work hard at it. And if the good Lord lets me live through another ‘shut down’, I will return here for rehab.

I will be 89 in a few months and this has been the best ever. Every one of the nurses and aides, I can’t remember them all, came in to say good bye and take care. The food has been great. They came up to get my likes and dislikes. I have no complaints what so ever with anyone or anything. If I ever need to go into a nursing home, this would be the one!

We have had extensive experience with Tuscany Gardens over the years and it has been nothing short of wonderful. As a survivor of a massive stroke, our dad was left unable to speak and paralyzed on one side. He worked very hard and was able to live at home with help for several years, but he had occasional setbacks and was in and out of rehabilitative care numerous times over the years. We visited several facilities in Licking County and found Tuscany Gardens far surpasses any of the others. We decided to try it out and have been repeat customers ever since.
The facility is beautifully decorated and is kept very clean. The entrance with Italian décor and warm, rich colors set the tone. The paintings and décor throughout the facility make it feel very homey. All the windows in every corner of the facility make it so bright and sunny and you never smell that nursing home or hospital smell.
The rooms are especially nice. They are much more spacious than any other facility we looked at and we really like the wall separating the two living areas in each room (rather than a curtain separating two beds like in most other facilities). We also like the fact that only two residents share a bathroom. The modern roll in showers means that our dad can take a shower in his room rather than in a group shower room down the hall. It just makes it feel more like home while still providing the safety features he needs.
The food is also very good. There is always a nice variety of delicious options and it always arrives at the appropriate temperature, whether in the dining room or delivered to the resident’s room. The residents’ families are invited to Thanksgiving dinner each year and to a Holiday Dessert hour at Christmas which includes live music. The food and hospitality for events is always incredible.
The staff are some of the most caring, loving, friendly, happy and upbeat people we’ve ever encountered. It doesn’t matter what day it is, what time of day it is, or which staff member we encounter; all the staff (maintenance staff, kitchen staff, patient aides, nurses, activities staff, administrative staff, etc.) are all very positive and energetic. It’s obvious they genuinely care about the residents and their family. We truly feel they are angels on this earth.
Over the years, we have referred several family members and friends to Tuscany Gardens and dad became a permanent resident during October 2016. He would really love to be closer to home but none of the facilities in Newark can even come close to comparing with Tuscany Gardens. They are head and shoulders above the rest and we wouldn’t have our dad live anywhere else.

Everyone is really nice here! I love my nurses and aides. I really enjoyed my therapist when I first arrived and now this is my home and it feels good to say that. I like going to activities and getting to pet the puppies that come here. This is a great place to live and I'm thankful.
I fell and broke my neck Christmas Eve 2018. I was paralyzed and could only move my fingers. Thanks to the dedicated nursing and STNAs I improved. Therapy has also played a big part in my recovery. The therapy staff has been the best. My Neurosurgeon said I would not be able to raise my left side but I can. The left side is a little weaker but I will be walking out of here with a walker on the 31st of January. I could not have asked for better or more courteous care. I have been in therapy from March of 2019 to January of 2020 and it works. Faith and being stubborn has helped! It’s been a long haul but I’m a success!
I have a great experience every day, I feel like a special person because they treat me so good. I like it here, I am very happy here. I am very pleased with all of my nurses and my aides. They have all been so good to me, I feel like some of them are just like one of my kids.
the folks have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety and well being of the residents and residents' families. Questions are answered promptly and real care is taken to ensure all things are as good as they can be. Of all the facilities I've visited, this is by far the best.

Tuscany Gardens employs staff who are very professional and very caring. Any time we needed a callback, it was done quickly and was most helpful. When we had questions, answers were given or obtained quickly. When adjustments were necessary, they were made available. The facility is pleasing and clean, and the food in the café was very good too. When hospice was needed, the two entities worked well together and were most caring. The ladies at the front desk were always delightful, friendly, and empathetic. We feel very blessed to have found Tuscany Gardens and thank ALL of them for caring for our mother.
I just want the Tuscany crew to know that I was glad that I chose your rehab to care for me. I don't handle pain very well and not being able to have visitors was a bit overwhelming to me. The nurses were so kind and helped through some rough times. I noticed the workers always took care of the task at hand before they moved on to another situation. God bless you for all you do. We love Tuscany Gardens, it is a wonderful facility. Everyone that works there is exceptional. Mom has been there twice and loved it both times. Kristen did an exceptional job with her both times. Mom could not walk independently when she went in but can now. She's 90 and lives alone. Thank you for all your help with her walking both times. If she needs more help we will be back.

Since arriving in March of 2023, we have been very pleased with the caring staff. My husband has made good progress with his walking while at Tuscany Gardens. We are impressed with the exceptional availability, help, and results of working with the Financial Department. The Therapy Department, Nurses, Aides, and Doctors gave great patience, encouragement, and excellent care to help George improve, feel more comfortable, and gain confidence with all the new faces. They always answer our questions, providing great comfort to the family.

The nurses and aides have given me very good care since I've been here with my knee/ankle injuries. They answer my calls in a timely manner and help me with whatever I need. My stay at Tuscany was rewarding in many ways. Admission was painless with full explanation on level of expectation. Dietary fully worked with me on likes and dislikes. Nurses and aides treated me with respect and checked me often but still let me rest. My PT staff got me on my feet and back into society again.
